I think I've never met a person who said: "No, I do not like Oreos" ... What I have known are many people who They say to me: "Siiiiiii Oreos!" or, "I ate a full Oreos package ...". While the original Oreo cookies have a divine flavor, we are aware that they come loaded with sugar, saturated fats and their ingredients are not natural at all.
Maybe many of us remember the a study from the University of Connecticut in the United States that proved how addictive these cookies were:
" Our study supports the theory that foods high in fats and sugars stimulate the brain in the same way that drugs "; explained one of these researchers. The clear difference is that not only oreos but also other products high in fats and sugars are openly available to all publics unlike drugs. This is really a public health problem. And like this study, there are many more.
Of course, this idea of baking chocolate cookies with a rich white vanilla filling is just great! and we're not going to let it go that easy. So we give you a divine, healthy and 100% natural alternative.
Homemade Oreo Cookies Recipe
Let's start with the ingredients for the dough (for 10-12 homemade Oreo cookies):
- 120 grams of dark melted chocolate .
- One egg.
- One tablespoon of coconut oil.
- Half a tablespoon of liquid vanilla.
- One cup of flour almonds.
- Half a cup of cocoa powder.
- Half a tablespoon of salt.
- Half a tablespoon of baking powder.
Ingredients for the filling:
- The meat cut into pieces of two small or medium sized coconuts.
- Two tablespoons of dried dehydrated coconut.
- One tablespoon of vanilla.
- Two tablespoons of Agave Syrup.
First start by mixing the liquid and dry ingredients of the dough for the cookie, separately. Once mixed, you can unite, mix and place them on a baking sheet, using a non-stick kitchen towel. Spread them along the tray; The thinner the crunchier dough is, the better the biscuit will be. Then, use a cookie cutter or glass to begin cutting the dough into cookies; trying to imitate the size of the original Oreo. When finished, remove the leftover dough that should not be much (you can use it to make other cookies) and place them in the oven at 350º for about 10 minutes.
Once ready, you can take them out to cool a little and while they have been in the oven you can begin to make the filling ... yum!
For the filling you can use a food processor or a blender, and simply pour all the ingredients and mix them until you achieve a consistency very similar to the original Oreo. Then, help yourself with a spoon and place a piece of stuffing in the middle of a cookie and then crush it a little bit with another.
And sooooo! You have your homemade Oreo cookies, totally natural, low in good fats, with less than half the calories of the originals and ready in about 20 or 30 minutes.
Enjoy and tell your body that you love it , eating natural foods. Come on!
